Nice to meet you! I’m Ashley.
Design has always been part of my life, even before I had a name for it. From sketching fashion designs at seven to playing violin for eight years, I was always drawn to creative ways of expressing myself. That instinct carried into my first experiments with digital tools, making scrappy edits on apps like PicsArt and Canva, where design started to feel more intentional.
When I arrived at Cornell, I initially majored in Communication because I was curious about how people share meaning and how technology shapes those interactions. After taking Intro to Digital Product Design and spending late nights building my first case study, I realized I did not just want to study technology; I wanted to design it.
Since then, I have taken products from 0 to 1, designed for real users through Cornell Digital Tech and Innovation, and collaborated with startups to bring early ideas to life. I am especially drawn to the intersection of UX and data science, where research and data guide thoughtful and impactful design decisions.
